At Tablecloth Kingdom HQ, on a Summers day where the air smells so good and the occasional cool breeze feels like Heaven, my colleague said, “you know what this day needs? An orange tablecloth!” After pondering the addition of an endless, sweet smelling summer to our linen press, I of course, responded with “It’s so crazy it just might work!”. And oh, how well it works!
Tiger Orange is so bold and charming; inspiring fun Fiestas, the classiest crockery table ever, or an Engagement party that inspires cool conversation and endless warm wishes. We just love the effect from scattering the glassware and candles for our Orange Engagement party.
We’re such fans of a smart casual style luncheon, with the shiny silver cutlery and bold square plates bringing in some class to the otherwise super chilled landscape.
The first of our feature tablespaces is the coolest crockery table we’ve ever seen. The charming black and white table runner from Ikea works so well against Tiger’s bright complexion, and forms the perfect unique backdrop to any assortment of plates and bowls you happen to come across.
We’ve used small bowls for sauces, dinner plates, desert plates, and soup bowls, and we love the different heights and textures they create. Add your favourite cutlery, some more height in the salt and pepper grinders, and a bountiful green plant, and you’ve got the start of your summertime smorgasbord.
We love Orange so much that we used it for each table in this lovely luncheon, but some other tablecloth colours that would go splendidly with Orange, would be Snow White, Chanterelle Beige, Silver Grey and even Coral.
